For this tut, you need PSP (get a demo version) , and a transparent tube.

Let's get starting!

1.Open a new image,transparent, 1024x400.

Choose 2 nice colours from your tube, and make a gradient: angle 75/repeat 1/linear.

Flood fill your image.

2.Effect/artistic effect/colored foils:

 

3.Effect/reflexion/pattern:

4.Adjust/brightness and contrast/Highlight/midtone/shadow:

You can of course adjust the setting, that it can be different by the original colour your choose.

5.Adjust/brightnes and contrast/gamma correction:

Your background is ready now.You can colorise if you want.

6.Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Duplicate.

7.Activate your original tube layer.Change the mod of this layer for darken and for the copy choose mode multiply.If you use another tube with colour in order to have one with transparency, just use the mode screen.

Now you have to sign and save it in jpeg .
